  • Acquired by the US Navy, 4 November 1942
  • Placed in service as Nesutan (YT-338), 10 November 1942
  • Converted for Naval service at Navy Yard Boston, MA., circa January to February 1943
  • Allocated to the 7th Naval District
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug, Large (YTB-338), 15 May 1944
  • Reallocated to the 13th Naval District, circa August 1945
  • Placed out of service and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, in March 1946
  • Reactived, 25 July 1947, for duty in the 13th Naval District
  • Placed out of service, 13 June 1950, and turned over to the US Army, at Seattle, WA., designated LT-1928
  • Struck from the Naval Register (List of Service Craft), 26 September 1950
  • Sold by the US Army in 1960 to the American Tug Boat Co., Everett, WA., renamed George S.
  • Sold in 1977 to the Puget Sound Tug and Barge Co. of Seattle, WA
