  • Laid down as YT-369 (hull # 229) in 1943 at Gulfport Boiler & Welding Works, Inc., Port Arthur, TX.
  • Launched, 4 February 1944
  • Completed, 14 March 1944
  • Placed in service, 14 March 1944, as Shamokin (YT-369) at Port Arthur, TX.
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug, Large YTB-369, 15 May 1944
  • During World War II Shamokin was allocated to the Pacific Fleet
  • Placed out of service in reserve in August 1947 and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, San Diego, CA.
  • Withdrawn from Reserve and reactivated 1953
  • Assigned Naval Station Subic Bay, Philippines
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-369 in 1962
  • Placed out of service in reserve, at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, HI. in October 1971
  • Struck from the Naval Register and sold, 1 July 1972
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
