  • Laid down, 3 April 1944,YT-375 in 1944 at Gulfport Boiler & Welding Works, Inc., Port Arthur, TX.
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug, Large YTB-375, 15 May 1944
  • Launched, 22 May 1944
  • Delivered and placed in service, 15 June 1944, as Oconostota (YTB-375)
  • Oconostota operated on the west coast
  • Placed out of service in March 1946
  • Assigned to the Pacific Reserve Fleet, San Diego Group
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-375 in February 1962
  • Withdrawn from Reserve and transferred to the 11th Naval District, 18 May 1962
  • Transferred, on loan, to Scripps Institution of Oceanography, in September 1962
  • Returned to the US Navy in February 1975
  • Transferred, on loan, to the Moss Landing Marine Laboratory in April 1975
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown, disappeared from the Navy list in 1970
