  • Purchased by Navy from C.W. Copeland at Perth Amboy, NJ, for $22,500, 16 October 1863
  • Placed in service as Snowdrop, 1863
  • Served in North Atlantic Blockading Squadron, 1864
  • Served as yard tug, Norfolk Navy Yard, 1865 - 1883
  • Final disposition, sold and broken up at New York Navy Yard, 1884
