  • Decommisioned at Washington Navy Yard, 13 June 1865
  • Sold at public auction at Washington by William L. Wall & Co. to W.E. Gladwick for $8,950, 20 July 1865
  • Documented as merchant tug Game Cock (ON 85186), 09 September 1865
  • Renamed Edward G. Burgess, 07 July 1885
  • Final disposition, abandoned, 1900
