  • Laid down, 3 July 1944, as the District Harbor Tug Alamuchee (YT-228) at Mathis Yacht Building Co., Camden, N.J.
  • Reclassified Large District Harbor Tug YTB-228, 15 May 1944
  • Launched, 12 February 1945
  • Placed in service, as Alamuchee (YTB-228), 4 May 1945 in the 8th Naval District at New Orleans, LA.
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register in April 1960
  • Transferred to the state of Louisiana in August 1960, operated by the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans as a firefighting tug until 1965
  • Sold at public auction by the state of Louisiana to Mr. George W. Whiteman, 9 August 1965
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
