  • Laid down, as YTB-399 in 1944 at Gibbs Gas Engine Co., Jacksonville, FL.
  • Launched, 22 November 1944
  • Delivered to the Navy, 27 April 1945
  • Placed in service as Numa (YTB-399), allocated to 12th Naval District, at San Francisco, CA.
  • Placed out of service in March 1946 and laid up in the Reserve Fleet, Astoria, OR.
  • Shifted berths to Green Cove Springs, FL. in 1954
  • Withdrawn from Reserve and reactivated in December 1954, allocated to the 6th Naval District at San Diego, CA.
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-399 in February 1962
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 31 December 1985
  • Sold, 31 July 2001, by Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) to Burnham Associates of Salem, MA., renamed Robert W. Tomlinson
