  • Delivered to the Navy and placed in service as Anamosa (YTB-409), 28 March 1945
  • Initially allocated to the 1st Fleet, on the west coast
  • Forward deployed in the Pacific in 1948, Naval Station Guam
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-409 in February 1962
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register in May 1978
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), 1 July 1979
