Sassaba Class District Harbor Tug:
  • Laid down, 29 April 1944, at the Coast Guard Yard, Curtis Bay, MD.
  • Launched, 14 July 1944
  • Delivered to the Navy and placed in service as Satago (YTB-414), 27 November 1944, allocated to the 5th Naval District
  • Reassigned to the Pacific Fleet in February 1945, by the end of May she was at Ulithi moving on to Leyte P.I. in mid-June
  • Following World War II Satago performed occupation duty, including China service from 9 October 1945 to 1 September 1947. In October 1945 she moved via Okinawa to Shanghai, Sasebo and Tsingtao finally returning to the Philippines in September 1947
  • Reassigned during the Korean War to Yokosuka in February 1951
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-414 in February 1962
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 15 May 1976
  • Final Disposition, disposed of in support of Fleet training exercise, 21 January 1977
