  • Laid down in 1944, at the Coast Guard Yard, Curtis Bay, MD.
  • Launched, 14 October 1944
  • Completed, 13 March 1945
  • Delivered to the Navy and placed in service as Topawa (YTB-419), 24 March 1945
  • Initially allocated to the 1st Fleet, on the west coast
  • Forward deployed in the Pacific in March 1946 the central Pacific, Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands
  • Assigned to Naval Station Guam in 1947
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-419 in February 1962
  • Reassigned to the Pacific Fleet in 1966
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register in September 1975
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), 1 July 1977
