Hisada Class District Harbor Tug, Large:
  • Built by Consolidated Shipbuilding Corp., Morris Heights, NY
  • Laid down, 12 April 1945
  • Launched, 09 July 1945
  • Delivered to the Navy as Accohanoc (YTB-545), 28 December 1945
  • Laid up in reserve at Green Cove Springs, FL. instead of being placed in service
  • Activated and place in service in May 1947, allocated to the 7th Naval District
  • With the disestablishment of the 7th Naval District, reassigned to the 6th Naval District at Naval Station Mayport, FL, 01 September 1948
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-545, February 1962
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register, February 1987
  • Transferred to the Maritime Administration, 10 June 1987
  • Used in James River Reserve Fleet as tug TD 25
  • Swamped in Hurricane Floyd, 16 September 1999
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown (possibly scrapped)
