Delivered to the War Shipping Administration (WSA) as Port Hudson (ON 243308), 26 April 1943

Delivered to Navy by WSA, January 1945

Name Wabaquasset (YTB-724) approved by the Navy, 24 March 1945

Never saw actual Naval service; acquired with "machinery in exceedingly bad condition" and laid up awaiting repairs

Returned to WSA, 07 June 1945

Acquired by Crescent Towing and Salvage, New Orleans LA as Port Hudson, 1946

Currently active with Crescent, almost 70 years with the same company and under the same name
