  • Commissioned USS Saugus (YTB-780), 12 March 1966, at Holy Loch, Scotland
  • Saugus provided tug service to SUBRON Fourteen submarines in the Holy Loch until 1974
  • Decommissioned and placed in service, date unknown
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register and struck from the Naval Register, 28 October 1997
  • Final Disposition, sold by the General Services Administration (GSA) reuse, 17 May 2000
