  • Laid down in 1914, as the Royal Navy's RFA Servitor at Chatham Dock Yard, Ltd., Chatham, England
  • Launched, 26 May 1914
  • Sold and renamed MV Puloe Brani in 1922 operating in the Great Lakes
  • Resold and renamed MV B.B McColl in 1927
  • Resold and renamed MV A.J. Patmore in 1929
  • Acquired by the US Navy, 13 November 1942
  • Converted for Naval service at Sullivan's Dry Dock & Repair Co., Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • Commissioned USS Rotary (YO-148), at Sullivan's Dry Dock and Repair Co., Chief Boatswain George A. Rowland, USNR, in command
  • USS Rotary was assigned to Casco Bay, Maine under operational control of Command, Destroyers, U.S. Atlantic Fleet
  • Decommissioned, circa December 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 21 May 1946
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal, 30 July 1946, name reverted to MV A.J. Patmore
  • Renamed MV Peggy Reinauer in 1946
  • Renamed MV Detroit in 1955 operating on the Great Lakes until 1975
  • Final Disposition, her partially dismantled hull was abandoned in 1985, in the back waters of Lake Calumet
