  • Commissioned USS Roustabout (YO-53), 10 June 1941, LCDR. Lawrence A. Parke, USNR, in command
  • Fitted out for naval service at Navy Yard Puget Sound, Bremerton, WA.
  • Assigned for duty to the 13th Naval District
  • Decommissioned, at Puget Sound Navy Yard, 2 February 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 12 March 1946
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal, 29 June 1946 at Olympia, WA.
