  • Assigned to Ninth Naval District for reservist training, 1933-1940
  • Transferred from Great Lakes to Atlantic coast for patrol duties, November 1940
  • Assigned to Fifteenth Naval District in Canal Zone, 1941
  • Damaged beyond repair by explosion and fire while on ways at Folk River shops, Cristobal, 16 November 1942
  • Explosion probably caused by gasoline vapors in engine room; six men injured, none seriously.
