  • Acquired by the US Navy, 11 May 1942
  • Conversion to District Patrol Vessel YP-404 cancelled when vessel found to be in poor condition, 09 June 1942
  • Owner refused to take vessel back
  • Converted to degaussing vessel by Old Dominion Railway Co., Norfolk, VA, 28 July - 18 December 1942
  • Redesignated District Degaussing Vessel YDG-1, 18 December 1942
  • Allocated to 10th Naval District at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, 1943 - August 1944
  • Returned to Charleston Navy Yard, Charleston, SC, for disposal, August 1944
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register, 13 November 1944
  • Transferred to the WSA (War Shipping Administration) for disposal, December 1945
  • Sold to Atlantic Navigation Co., Port Monmouth, NJ, as Thomas C. McNeal, 1946
  • Later sold to New Smith Meal Co., New York, NY
  • Final disposition, out of documentation between 1981 and 1988
