  • Commissioned USS YF-448, 11 July 1944, allocated to the Fifth Naval District
  • Decommissioned in 1946
  • Acquired by the US Coast Guard in 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Commissioned, as the Coastal Buoy Tender USCGC White Pine (WAGL-547), 3 August 1948
  • Redesignated (WLM-547), mid-1960s

    21k USCGC White Pine (WAGL-547) underway off the Coast Guard Yard at Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD., 9 August 1948, six days after being commissioned into the US Coast Guard.
