  • Built in 1937 as the wood-hulled twin screw steamer SS Nambucca II by E. Wright, Tuncurry, New South Wales, Australia for North Coast Steam Navigation Company Limited
  • Requisitioned by the Australian Navy for naval service, 7 November 1939
  • Commission as the auxiliary minesweeper HMAS Nambucca
  • Turned over to the US Navy, 19 April 1943 and placed in service as District Degaussing Vessel YDG-5
  • Turned over to US Army, date unknown
  • Final Disposition, lost by fire in 1945 while under US Army control, location unknown
