  • Launched in 1944
  • Delivered to the US Army Quartermaster Corps between July and August 1944
  • Assigned to the US Army Transportation Corps
  • Commission USAV FS-526, 16 August 1944, at New Orleans, LA., LT. Francis M. Holbrook, USCGR in command
  • USAV FS-526 was assigned to duty in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater - Southwest Pacific and Western Pacific areas during World War II including the Philippines
  • Decommissioned, date unknown, and turned over the the Government of the Philippines, reflagged Republic of the Philippines
  • Sold in 1951 to Williams Lines Inc., Manila, Philippines, named MV Don Victoriano
  • Renamed in 1957 MV Virginia VI by Williams Lines
  • Renamed in 1960 MV Elena by Williams Lines
  • MV Elena caught fire at Sane Jose, Mindoro Island, Philippines and foundered on 29 July 1982
  • Final Disposition, broken in 1982 up at Cebu
