  • During World War II ST-85 was assigned to the Europe-Africa-Middle East Theater

  • Acquired in 1948 by Esperance Inc., New York, N.Y .
  • Towed to Argentina in 1948 by Tug Snohomish
  • Acquired circa 1948 by the Ministry of Public Works, Buenos Aires, Argentina, named 253-B
  • Final Disposition, sank in the Parana River in 1975
