  • Laid down in 1919 as the cargo ship SS Lake Ikatan for the United States Shipping Board (USSB) at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co., Manitowoc, WI
  • Launched, 5 November 1919
  • Delivered in April 1920 to the United States Shipping Board
  • Purchased in 1926 by the Southern Steamship Co., renamed SS San Antonio
  • Acquired by the War Shipping Administration, 7 June 1942, from the Southern Steamship Co. at New Orleans
  • Operated from 7 June 1942 to 7 July 1942 as a time charter by the Southern Steamship Co.
  • Allocated as a time charter at New York City from the War Shipping Administration, by Agwilines Inc, from 7 July 1942 to 11 June 1943
  • Allocated, 11 June 1943, by the War Shipping Administration as a bare bottom charter to the War Department, Transportation Corp.
  • Re-delivered, 25 April 1946, to Southern Steamship Co., at Shanghai, China and simultaneously sold to the China Merchants Steam Navigation Co. for $158,936.89, renamed SS Hai Ming, reflagged China
  • Renamed SS Hai Liao in 1947
  • Acquired in 1954 by the China Peoples Steam Navigation Co.
  • Final Disposition, scrapped in 1970
