  • Launched in 1944
  • Acquired by the US Army Army Corps of Engineers in 1947
  • Christened and and put into service as USED Mateur in 1947
  • Decommissioned and retired from Army service in 1978
  • Sold in 1991, renamed M/V Effie Afton
  • Converted to a floating restaurant at Rock Island, IL. from 1994 to 2009
