  • Built in 1914 at Ambridge, PA. as the Slack Barrett
  • Launched in 1914
  • Delivered to the Ohio River Dredging Company in 1914
  • Purchased by the US Army Engineers in 1922
  • Christened, Commissioned put into service by the US Army Engineers as the USED Towboat Tuscumbia in 1922
  • USED Tuscumbia worked on the Tennessee River
  • Retired from Army service, circa 1937
  • Sold in 1937 to Minneapolis Dredging Co.
  • Resold in 1939 to the Ohio River Dredging Co., renamed Slack Barrett
  • Final Disposition, dismantled at Huntington, WVa in March, 1949.
