  • Built in 1891 at Howard Shipyard, Jeffersonville, IN.
  • Launched in 1891
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1891 by the U.S. Engineering Department as USED Towboat Colbert
  • Assigned to the U.S. Engineering Department Nashville District
  • USED Colbert worked on the Tennessee River
  • Rebuilt in 1909
  • Rebuilt again in 1915
  • Nashville Bridge Company built a steel hull for Colbert in 1925
  • Retired from Army service, circa 1946
  • Final Disposition, sold in 1946 to Muscle Shoals Boat Company at Florence, AL. and dismantled
