  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1925 by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers as USED Daniel Boone
  • Assigned to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Omaha District
  • Daniel Boone worked on the Missouri River and Mississippi River
  • Retired from Army service, circa 1940
  • Sold to Waterways Transportation Inc. of St. Louis in 1940
  • Final Disposition, dismantled, hull sold to Phillips Petroleum Co. in 1943, used as a barge at their tank farm below East St. Louis, Il.
