  • Launched in 1928
  • Delivered in 1928 to the US Army Corps of Engineers
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1928 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as USED Towboat Porterfield
  • Assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District
  • USED Porterfield worked on the Mississippi River
  • Converted to twin propellers in June 1946
  • Final Disposition, burned in April 1953
