  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service as USED U.S. Engineer No.9 in 1900
  • Assigned to the US Army Corps of Engineers St. Louis District
  • Renamed USED Towboat Kaskaskia in 1911
  • U.S. Towboat Engineer No.9 / USED Towboat Kaskaskia worked on the Ohio River
  • Retired from US Army Service, circa 1940
  • Bought at public sale by P. McCarthey, Davenport, IA.
  • Sold to Crain Bros., Pittsburgh, PA., circa 1942
  • Sank, 20 January 1942 near the L&N Bridge at Cincinnati, OH.
  • Raised by Crain Bros and taken to Pittsburgh and sold to Charles Zubik, in 1944
  • Final Disposition, sank at Aspinwell PA. on the Allegheny River in 1944 and was removed from documentation
