USED Towboat Nauvoo

Sternwheel Towboat:
  • Built in 1915 at Grafton Boat Works, Grafton, IL.
  • Launched, in 1915
  • Delivered to the US Army Engineers in 1915
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service as USED Towboat Nauvoo in 1915
  • Assigned to the US Army Engineers Rock Island District where she worked on the upper Mississippi River
  • Transferred in May 1934 to the US Army Engineers Huntington District where she worked on the Ohio River and Big Sandy River
  • Retired from US Army service, circa 1936
  • Final Disposition, sold in November 1936 to Charles Zubik and dismantled at Pittsburgh
