Christened, commissioned and placed in service as USED Towboat Neenah, date unknown
Assigned to the US Army Corps of Engineers District, date unknown
USED Neenah was used for repairs on the Fox River
Retired from Army service, date unknown
Acquired by Gallagher Marine Construction of Escanaba, MI.and renamed Shamrock
Rebuilt in1 950, propeller, (56.5 x 20.16 x5) 91 gross tons
Resold 1954 to the Arnold Transit Company of Mackinac Island, MI.
In 1955 Shamrock was converted to a barge and had her deckhouse removed, 46 gross tons
She was then used for hauling hay and other freight to Mackinac Island from the mainland and nicknamed the "hay barge"
Shamrock was sold by Arnold around the early 90s and has been used for various jobs in the area since then
Current Disposition, Shamrock is currently laid up on the Cheboygan River in Cheboygan, MI., with her original steam engine still in place
