Sternwheel Towboat:
  • Built in 1914 by US Army Engineers at Muscle Shoals, AL.
  • Launched in 1914
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service as USED Towboat Ocoee in 1914
  • Assigned to the US Army Engineers Chattanooga District
  • USED Ocoee worked on the Ohio River
  • Retired from Army service, circa 1935
  • Sold, circa 1935, to CAPT. Tom Williams of Evansville, IN., Chartered in 1935 to Gulf Refining Co. to move oil and gas from North Bend, OH. to Evansville and Bowling Green
  • Sunk in the ice at Evansville, IN. in February 1936, raised and sold to CAPT. Tom Hines, renamed Nolin for service on the Green River
  • Final Disposition, dismantled in 1940
