  • Built in 1898 at Louisville, KY.
  • Launched in 1898
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1898 as USED Towboat Wave Rock
  • Assigned to the US Army Engineers Louisville district
  • USED Wave Rock worked on the Ohio River
  • Retired from US Army service, circa 1920
  • Sold in 1920 to CAPT. John Klein
  • Rebuilt in 1923 at Mound City, renamed Billy Lepper
  • Sank on Ouachita River near Monroe, October 1924 and raised
  • Final Disposition, sank a second time on upper Ouachita at Columbia Saw Mill Landing and high water of 1926 finished her
