  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1884 as USED General Gillmore
  • Assigned to the US Engineers St. Louis District
  • USED General Gillmore operated on Mississippi between the Illinois and Ohio Rivers
  • Final Disposition, sank in October 1904 near Fort Chartes, IL, above Ste. Genevieve
