Sidewheel Snagboat:
  • Laid down in 1888 as Pacific at Rees & Sons Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Launched, date unknown
  • Towed to St. Louis for completion by the St.Louis and Mississippi Valley Transportation Co.
  • Delivered to the Missouri River Commission in 1888
  • Turned over to the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1902
  • Commissioned by the US Army Corps of Engineers, as USED Snagboat C.R. Suter
  • Assigned to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Gasconade, MO. District
  • C.R. Suter operated on the Missouri River
  • Rebuilt in 1908, renamed USED Snagboat Missouri
  • Burned, 29 July 1928, at Gasconade, MO. After she burned her wreck was dragged downstream 2 miles behind a dike. The dike broke off exposing the wreck in 1929
  • Final Disposition, disposed of by USED Dredge Kappa
