  • Built in 1953 for US Army as Coastal Freight T-508 at Higgins Industries, New Orleans LA.
  • Launched in 1953
  • Delivered in 1953 to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, redesigned as a Drift Removal Vessel
  • Placed in commission in 1953 as USACE Mobjack
  • Mobjack's mission was to patrol the federal navigation channels removing debris which could damage shipping as they navigate to and from the various port facilities in Hampton Roads
  • Decommissioned in 2018
  • Current Disposition, fate unknown
