Sternwheel Snagboat:
  • Built in 1896 at Ramos, LA.
  • Launched, in 1896
  • Purchased by US Engineers New Orleans District in 1899
  • Rebuilt at New Orleans in 1900
  • Christened, commissioned and placed into service as USED Snagboat Ramos
  • Used in th Fourth District, Mississippi River and based at Plaquemine, LA.
  • Probably used primarily as a snagboat on the Bayou Plaquemine
  • Retired from US Army service, date unknown (Off the list by 30 June 1913)
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
