F-8E Crusader, Fighter Squadron (VF) 191 "Satan's Kittens," modex NM00, BuNo 150326, assigned to CDR Billy Phillips, CAG.
According to the ship's deck log: "[13 April 1967] 1116 While attempting to land an F-8E Crusader, Bureau No. 150326 of VF-191, piloted by LT William C. Miller, USN, [...] it skidded into the port catwalk. Pilot not injured. Aircraft sustained minor damage."

RF-8G Crusader, Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron (VFP) 63 "Eyes of the Fleet" Det. E, probably BuNo 146890, modex PP910, assigned to LCDR Clyde E. Hamilton, OinC.


4th Vietnam Cruise, 28 December 1967–17 August 1968
with Carrier Air Wing 19 (CVW-19), "NM"

A-4C Skyhawks from CVW-19's VA-195 "Dambusters" and a couple planes prepared for transport (including one from Ranger's CVW-2) on the flight deck of Ticonderoga.

UH-2B Seasprite, BuNo 151309, modex UP96, HC-1 "Pacific Fleet Angels" Det. 14.

A-4F Skyhawks from VA-192 "Golden Dragons" (side number 205) and VA-23 "Black Knights" (305 & 302), RF-8G Crusader from VFP-63 "Eyes of the Fleet" Det. 14 (603) and the nose of a KA-3B Skywarrior (probably from VAH-4 "Fourrunners" Det. 14).
