  • 26 April 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.
  • 27 May 1943: Assigned the name Ebert (DE 74)
  • 10 June 1943: Allocated to Great Britain under the Lend-Lease Program
  • 17 July 1943: Launched
  • 14 October 1943: Delivered to the Royal Navy, commissioned as HMS Bentley (K.465)
  • 05 November 1945: Returned to U.S. Navy custody at the New York Naval Shipyard
  • 15 December 1945: Struck from the NVR
  • 17 June 1947: Sold for scrapping to Mr. John J. Witte of Staten Island, New York
