  • 09 July 1943: Keel laid by the Boston Navy Yard
  • 13 August 1943: Launched
  • 15 November 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Lawson (K516)
  • 20 March 1946: Returned to U.S. Navy custody, Struck from the NVR
  • 31 January 1947: Sold for scrapping
