HMS Trollope (K.575) Building and Operational Data:
  • 29 September 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem-Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.
  • 20 November 1943: Launched
  • 10 January 1944: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Trollope (K.575)
  • 06 July 1944: Ran aground near Arromanches-les-Bains, France; assessed as a total constructive loss
  • 10 October 1944: Returned to the U.S. Navy custody
  • 13 November 1944: Struck from the NVR
  • 09 January 1947: Sold for scrapping to John Lee of Belfast on
  • 1951: Broken up for scrap in Scotland
