387k 09 March 2004: At sea aboard USS Taylor - Sailors assigned to the guided missile frigate USS Taylor (FFG 50) hold steady on a messenger line during a Replenishment at Sea with the fast combat support ship USS Seattle (AOE 3). Taylor is part of the USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) Carrier Strike Group (CSG) and is currently taking part in a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX), which is an intermediate level training exercise, designed to forge ships in the Kennedy CSG into a cohesive fighting team.

389k 20 May 2005: Souda Bay, Crete, Greece - Storekeeper First Class Lonnie Campton, assigned to USS Taylor, serves as color guard for the American flag during the opening ceremony of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and the Military Committee (MC) SEA DAY Exercise. The exercise involved vessels from Greece, Turkey, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, and the United States all currently assigned to Standing NATO Response Force Maritime Group Two (SNMG2). The event was held to provide an indication of the capabilities of these permanent naval assets that recently have been integrated into the NATO Response Force (NRF) and that form the core of the antiterrorist operation Active Endeavor.
