  • Built in 1940 at Tacoma, WA
  • Acquired by the Navy in 1942 and designated as a Coastal Minesweeper, AMc-145
  • Reclassified as a District Patrol Craft, YP-383 in May 1942 and placed in service
  • Sunk 24 November 1944 after a collision with USS LCI(L)-873 in the Gulf of Panama.

  • Displacement 80 t.
  • Length 87' 9"
  • Beam 24' 3"
  • Speed 11 kts.
  • Propulsion: One 550shp diesel engine, one shaft.
