  • Launched, 29 August 1943
  • Commissioned USS PC-1216, 31 December 1943
  • Decommissioned in the spring of 1946 at Chicago, IL
  • Placed in service in July 1946 as a Naval Reserve training vessel in the 9th Naval District (Great Lakes) and homeported in Chicago, IL
  • Named Elkins, 15 February 1956
  • Fate unknown.

  • Propulsion: Two 2,560bhp Hooven-Owen-Rentschler R-99DA diesel engines, no reduction gear, two shafts.
