80' Elco Motor Torpedo Boat:

  • Laid down 31 January 1945 by the Electric Boat Co., Elco Works, Bayonne, NJ
  • Launched 30 May 1945
  • Completed 18 June 1945, placed in service and assigned to Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron FORTY ONE under the command of LCDR Bruce Van Buskirk, USNR
  • The "Bounty" was placed out of service 30 January 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register 25 February 1946
  • Reclassified as Bureau of Ships Equipment 22 December 1948
  • Designated a Radio Control Target RCT-5 in 1951
  • Transferred to Norway later that year and named HNoMS Skrei
  • Struck from the Norwegian Navy list in December 1962
  • Fate unknown.
