  • Built 1914 as yacht Florence D by George Lawley and Sons, Neponset, MA
  • Acquired by the Navy 4 September 1942 and converted for Naval service
  • Commissioned USS Iolite (PYc-41), 9 November 1942
  • Decommissioned 17 June 1944 and placed in service
  • Placed out of service 2 October 1944
  • Struck from the Naval Register 14 October 1944
  • Transferred to the War Shipping Administration in September 1945 for disposal and sold
  • Fate unknown.
