  • Commissioned USAV FS-355, 5 December 1944, at New York, LT. R.W. Coe, USCGR in command
  • USAV FS-355 departed New York, 22 January 1945 , for the Southwest Pacific where she operated during the war at Zamboanga and elsewhere
  • Decommissioned and retired from US Army service 19 November 1945
  • Reactivated and named USAV PVT. Carl V. Sheridan (FS-355), date unknown
  • Sold in 1972 for service as a fishing vessel, named F/V John S. Dempster Jr.
