  • Laid down, circa 1918 as SS Eastern Trader, a USSB type-1124 Passenger-Cargo Liner, at Asano Shipbuilding Co., Taurumi, Japan
  • Launched, date unknown
  • Delivered to the United States Shipping Board (USSB) in 1919,
  • Sold in 1923 to to the Luckenbach Steam Ship Co., renamed SS Horace Luckenbach
  • Taken over by the United States Maritime Commission, circa 1940
  • Allocated by the War Shipping Administration in 1940
  • Assigned to the US Army Transportation Corps, Commissioned USAT Horace Luckenbach
  • Returned to her owners, circa 1946
  • Sold in 1947 to G. Costa, renamed SS Giovanna C., reflagged Italy, served as a cargo-passenger liner until 1949 when she was converted to an immigrant transport
  • Final Disposition, scrapped in 1953 at La Spezia, Italy
