  • Completed for the Union Oil Co. of California, Los Angeles, CA, as tanker Paul M. Gregg (ON 240945), 22 August 1941
  • Acquired by the WSA (War Shipping Administration) under TCA agreement at San Francisco, 20 April 1942
  • Operated along US west coast, 1942 - 1945
  • Suffered explosion in pump room at 35° 10' N 120° 22' W, 16 January 1945. One crewman was killed. Vessel abandoned except for master and three officers, fires later brought under control;
        Master Martin Swendsen received Distinguished Service Medal
  • Delivered by WSA to Union Oil Co. at Los Angeles, 16 November 1945
  • Sold to Cienaga Transport Corp., Wilmington, DE, 1953
  • Sold Western Ocean Transport Co., Wilmington, DE, 1956
  • Sold foreign for scrapping, 05 July 1960
  • Final disposition, broken up by Mitsubishi Shoji KK, Yokosuka, September 1960
