  • Launched, 1954
  • Delivered to the US Army Transportation Corps in April 1954
  • Loaned to the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1962
  • Assigned to the US Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District
  • Permanently transferred to the the Us Army Corps of Engineers in February 1965
  • Named Ohio in May 1975
  • Renamed Simonsen in June 1968 in honor of deceased Buffalo District construction representative Howard Simonsen
  • Declared excsss in 2006
  • Sold to the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corp.
  • Final Disposition. fate unknown
