  • Purchased by the US Army Corp of Engineers at New Orleans in January 1920
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1920 by the U.S. Army Engineers as USED Towboat General John Coffee
  • Assigned to the U.S. Army Engineers New Orleans District
  • General John Coffee operated on the Tennessee River
  • Retired from US Army service in 1925
  • Sold in late fall 1925 at public sale to Barrett Line
  • Renamed Dorothy Barrett in 1926
  • Various other owners/names
  • Final Disposition, dismantled in 1952.
